Fear is something we all experience; it’s part of being human. The one way to overcome fear and utilize it to your advantage is to face it head on and look it dead in the eye. Triumph over it and make yourself aware of what you truly can do. Never back away or avoid fear, it’s always going to be there. You must take it by the hand and work with it. Convert fears (powerful energy) into constructive building material and use it to attain all you long to achieve. Fear never leaves. It's always hanging around, so it's best kept as a friend you really don't like but realize the value of it's usefulness.

This changed my life.... I felt sick one Sunday night, went to bed, didn't sleep a wink, was up all night in pain and shivering with cold chills. The next morning I managed to get my two girls off to school and collapsed on the couch shivering and rolled up in a ball of horrible pain. When the kids got out of school I explain to them that I was feeling really bad and was going to drive myself to the doctor and for them to set tight, do their homework and I would call.
I made it to the hospital humped over the steering wheel as the pain was getting stronger and stronger. I waited longer than the staff wanted me to in the waiting area, but they were swamped with H1N1 cases at this time, it was mid October. There was a sea of masked people filling the chairs.
Finally someone took me back into and examining room. It took little time for them to guess that I had appendicitis. A CAT scan confirmed what the doctor suspected. The doctor explained I would be rushed into emergency surgery right away. I managed to call the girls and tell them. They were scared but I assured them they would talk with me again very soon.
I woke up in a very cold recovery room. My appendicitis was advanced and therefore I had to be cut open. I was told it would be a least two weeks before I could return to work and that I had to take it really easy. This was hard for me, a Mom of two girls who had taken freakishly good care of my body and didn't have a single stretch mark from pregnancy. Yep, I took very good care of my body.
This was the first time ever I was told I could not work out and after seeing the video of my stomach being cut open, stretched to accommodate the instruments that removed my bursting appendix and the layers of muscle tissue cut, and pulled apart, I felt fragile. I knew it was vital to do as the doctor said in order for my muscle tissue to heal properly.
In short this taught me how vital exercise is. I went from a strong hard body to a soft and flabby one very quick. I was horrified as to how quickly my body went down hill with no exercise. The lesson here is that working out and exercise is critical for your health. If you've never made a habit of working out, you don't know how good you can feel and how amazing your body can be!
So I strongly advise that you find something that works for you, preferably at home so it's available when you have a spare moment. Short frequent burst of excersise is better than long isolated ones. I have a bike just beside my bed facing the television where I hop on and ride for 30 minutes while I watch TV.
Here is a list of my favorite work out items. Start out small and love yourself for every single minute you spend on the bike or excersixe. Don't feel like you should have all the things I have at home but do pick something a start is all you need to feel and look better.

Going Organic – This isn’t that hard to do, yet take it like you should anything new, baby steps. Another myth about Organic, the cost, it all balances out. I’ve never seen a good Organic product that cost more than a box of twinkies, poor twinkies, they get such a bum rap, and anyway you get the picture. Many chains now offer organic foods yet bar none Trader Joes is my favorite. You’ll love it.
Green Water – I drink water all day long and it’s green water. I love Anthony Robbins, he and I share the same philosophies. He sells amazing products and one of which I won’t be without. Pure Energy Greens with MSM also known as Inner Balance. It’s a green powder made with organic ingredients which are basically all the green stuff we should be putting into our bodies but don’t. I feel good knowing my body gets what it needs with this simple drink. It’s amazing!
Start the day off right – Every single day of your life, as soon as your feet hit the floor and you’re off to put something in your mouth make it a big glass of water and Flax Seed. This will do so many amazing things for you daily. The two most important is 1) fills you up and get your motor charged up for the day. 2) It cleans you out and keeps you regular. And yes you should be regular. I trust and love Barleans Raw Organic Flaxseed. So, what you do is grab your flaxseed first thing every day. I spoon myself a heaping tablespoonful, put it in my mouth and chase it down with a 16 ounce bottle of water. Ta Da… two birds killed with one stone and my hunger goes away.

Did someone say GREEN? – I’ve been drinking green tea for over 20 years. I adore it, love it, crave it, in fact if asked what food I’d take with me on a deserted Island, it would be green tea.
Guayaki Yerba Mate – Traditional Style – 100% Organic Tea
Oolong – This is an amazing weight maintenance tea, this is said to be a primary reason Asian women are thin, they drink Oolong tea day in and out. Cultures like theirs who routinely drink tea are thin.
Coconut Oil - I take a few teaspoons of Coconut Oil every day. I use extra virgin coconut oil 100% organic, raw and vegetarian. Any other kind is not good for your body, like the processed kind in cookies and cakes. The one thing 100% organic, extra virgin, raw coconut oil does that interest most people is that it regulates the thyroid. Most of us with some weight to loose have a sluggish thyroid. This will get the ole furnace burning and much more. I actually learned about coconut oil during a personal health issue with my thyroid. Long story short, I had radiation which destroyed my thyroid. My doctor told me I would need to take medication for the rest of my life to replace the hormonal function of my thyroid. I was not at all interested in being dependant on a drug for a week much less the remainder of my life, yet my body suffered with the lack of thyroid function. I learned what it was like to be tired all the time, cold and with no energy. My furnace was not working and I was loosing hair, bone density, getting weak and very out of shape. I researched my brains out and one day found the miracle of Coconut Oil. I feel like young healthy vibrant women again. I could go on and on about this, yes another product I will not live without. Note: I never took the med’s the doctor said I’d need, never ever and he’s amazed at my recovery and over all good health, just amazed.
Red Wine – I drink a glass of red wine everyday. It is suggested that men drink two.
Chocolate – Yep gotta have that as well. I even drink hot chocolate that’s outta this world. I put some milk in a heavy sauce pan, drop in a couple chunks of Concerto 70% Cacao Dark Chocolate (found at Trader Joes) and stir until melted, you will not find a better hot chocolate and so simple, I sometimes use whole milk if I’m feeling particularly skinny and sometimes add a wee bit of Baileys. The Irish in me… I only do chocolate that’s of good quality and mostly organic but I do it often, I feel it’s a health food.
Almonds – The best snack known to man. I get these cute little individual packs at Trader Joes called Just a Handful of Raw Almonds. Have these on hand or in your purse. Don’t go long periods of time without eating. Grazing is a technique I’m sure your familiar with. The key is having healthy snacks on hand when needed. They must be raw. The roasting process kills all the healthful benefits of the raw almond and let me just say, they are delicious. Raw Almonds have omega three fatty acids, we’ve all heard about these and the powers that be. They protect against “C” and are super heart health giants, almonds are brain food and on and on I could go.
Water – Water why is water way down here? Thought you were getting away with it hum…. NOPE water is the end all to end all. If your not seeing good things when you look in the mirror, drink some water. The lack of shows in our appearance which is a good monitor.
Get Moving – Once you start doing the things listed above you’ll have so much energy you’ll be up and buzzing round before you know it. So I won’t bother telling you what to do to get fit other than enjoy your new found energy and live like there’s no tomorrow.
Great Sex - Yes that's right I said sex. Great sex is sex you enjoy! If not, it's still been proven to produce great health benefits. It releases chemicals that are good for you. So why not enjoy it, learn a thing or two and have fun . . Your gonna want to thank me for all this awesome information.

I believe we should eat right, exercises our body's and minds daily. The mind being the biggest factor in the feel good and achieve success equation. We all know the basic fitness requirements of the body, yet SO many of us don't give enough thought to well thought! Exercising the brain is crucial. Habits, we all have a few bad habits, some of us more than others and some of us rarely encounter any blows with those ghost. Those of you still fighting the fight know the obsession to hang on grows more intensely the moment you try to shake a bad habit. I've learned what works for me. It's very basic yet it works. Replace your bad habit with a good habit. It's a matter of choice, good or bad. For example, I'm a firm believer in the Law of Attraction. Thoughts become things, what you think about happens and your thoughts are the driving force in you life. MONEY MATTERS Money Beyond Belief
My philosophy, is just that, MINE! We are all different. Feel free to take from me what is useful and feels comfortable to you. In no way will any of us ever be exactly the same. Remember this, ANY positive change made is amazing and wonderful. You must move gently and respectfully of the amazing you! Always, Always give yourself credit for each and every positive move you make. Forget about the mistakes focus on the good and more and more good will bloom!
My story goes something like this…I’m a naturalist. What exactly is that you may wonder, well it’s a person who chooses to consume and utilize products and foods that are organic or as close as possible. I avoid things with chemicals. For example, I feel butter "real butter is always the better choice over margarines and other chemically designed foods. Things are made with chemicals because it’s a cheap way to mass produce things and gain a profit from the mass sales. You are not a trash can, most of the processed chemical laden junk on the shelves of the supermarket are best tossed in the trash can. Remember there’s a place for that junk and it’s not in your beautiful body, mind and soul.
I feel great, enjoy the perfect weight for my body type, have tons of energy and overall enjoy life. We have ONLY ONE body, ONE life, ONE chance, on this earth, space and time that's it. The time is now to realize were all here for a limited amount of time. Time to make it count! Day dream like a small child, the wonderful perfect small child within you and dream big and fabulous dreams!
